A man caught drug-driving in High Wycombe will have to pay over £500 in fines and costs.
Harvey Lowey-Edwards, 21, of West Wycombe Road in High Wycombe, was stopped by police on June 21 last year in Hatters Lane.
He was driving a Mercedes Sprinter van.
A drug test was carried out, and officers found traces of cannabis byproduct in his system.
It was subsequently established that Lowery-Edwards was driving without insurance or a valid licence.
The defendant appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to all charges against him.
He was banned from driving for a year, and was also ordered to pay a £553 fine.
In addition, magistrates demanded that he pay back £85 in prosecution costs.
This brings the total owed by Lowery-Edwards to the court to £638.
