A 38-year-old man has been jailed for 10 months after pleading guilty to attempted burglary.
Tyler Strickland, 38, of Sunnyside Road in Chesham appeared at Amersham Crown Court on Thursday, August 8.
The incident occurred on June 3, when Strickland attempted to gain access to the address of a woman in her thirties in Chartridge Lane.
He was arrested on June 7 and charged.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Matthew Roberts, of the Priority Crime Team based at Aylesbury police station, said: “Tyler Strickland is a persistent offender, so I am glad that he has received a custodial sentence.
“We will continue to protect local communities from harm and I hope this result shows them that we are determined to get repeat offenders off our streets.”
