A planning application has been put forward to part of a popular High Street shop in Marlow into a residential unit.
A proposal, that was submitted to Buckinghamshire Council on Friday, August 16, reveals that Sorbon Estates would like to convert the first and second floor of numbers 36-38 along the stretch of the road into a living space.
The unit is currently occupied by the national outdoor chain, Mountain Warehouse.
However, a spokesperson from the Marlow branch has confirmed that whilst the application has been put forward, there are no suggestions that the shop will close.
It has been hinted that the land which the store is on, will remain untouched, and that the apartments above could be transformed.
The first floor plans show a kitchen and a living space, with a separate bedroom and bathroom being included.
The second floor, which is also the top floor, also consists of the same facilities, but, has been laid out differently.
