If you have tuned into Good Morning Britain (GMB) this morning (September 3), you may be wondering why usual presenter Susanna Reid isn't sitting next to her co-host Ed Balls in the studio.

Shortly after introducing the day's headlines, including the rise in "snatch thefts" across the country, Ranvir Singh who was revealed to be sitting next to Ed instead this morning explained why Susanna wasn't presenting the show today.

Ranvir said: "A very good morning to you and of course you will be wondering where Susanna is this morning.

"Well one of her boys has been taken unwell overnight and so she needs to stay with him but we are here for you this morning."

Viewers were wondering where Susanna was minutes into Tuesday's GMB, taking to X in the hopes of finding out.

One person asked: "Where is Susanna? Missed the start #GMB"

Without realising why she wasn't appearing, someone else queried: "Susanna having a day off already? #gmb"

It comes as Susanna returned to GMB only yesterday (September 2) after a well-earned break and reunited with her co-stars Ed and Ranvir.

During Monday's first show back, in a segment focusing on the Oasis reunion ticket prices backlash over the weekend, she was eager to have her say on the matter.

Susanna who gave up trying to get tickets herself to see Noel and Liam Gallagher back on stage again since 2009, reacted to a 22-year-old fan who had to queue for eight and a half hours, only to be able to buy a standing ticket for the price of £350 when they finally got to the front.

She then critised: "That's all that was left because of dynamic pricing.

"He can't pay £700 for two tickets."

When another fan said that Oasis should "hang their heads in shame", Susanna responded: "It's too much, isn't it? They're not airlines, they're Oasis."
