A CCTV image of a man who might have information regarding an assault in High Wycombe has been published.
At around 6.30pm on Friday, August 16 a man was chased into the town’s McDonald’s branch along the High Street.
He was also shouted at.
Two weeks earlier on Tuesday, July 30, the same victim, who is a man in his 20s, was picked up and thrown to the floor by the same offender.
This again happened along the town’s High Street, but occurred outside the Halifax bank.
The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer Imanol Wash Dingle said: “We are appealing to anyone who has information relating to these incidents or recognises the man in the image as we believe he may have vital information.
“We ask that anyone who may have CCTV or mobile phone footage that could assist our enquiries to please come forward.
“You can contact police by calling 101 or by making a report online quoting reference 43240363698.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
