Another shop appears to have left High Wycombe’s Eden Shopping Centre – less than two years after it arrived.
Amour Boutique – an independent business centred around affordable women’s clothing – opened in the Eden Centre in December 2022.
If an empty shopfront is anything to go by, though, the shop has become the latest to leave the retail complex – balanced by a number of big-name new arrivals including Primark and Taco Bell.
A staff member at Amour Boutique called Ryan McGee told the Free Press this week that the unit’s closure was due to “the rent being too high”.
Mr McGee said the business had closed down as a “last resort”, accusing the shopping centre of “kicking us out”.
The clothing store’s departure follows a series of other closures over the last year – including model shop Collectables R Us, toy shop Toys UK, fast fashion chain Zara and The Body Shop.
The Eden Shopping Centre has been approached for comment.
