An underwear brand based in Marlow is celebrating five years in business in September – ringing in the milestone with a month-long celebration of all things wellness.
CEO Priya Downes founded the sustainable underwear brand Nudea in 2019, with a mission statement of ‘bringing joy to underwear drawers’.
In the years since, the online business has gone from strength to strength including pop-up stints in a local John Lewis store and an expansion into the wider realm of lounge and sleepwear.
To celebrate exactly five years since the B Corp certified brand came to life, Priya is urging customers to think about how best to boost wellness across their lives – inviting experts in nutrition, meditation, movement and sleep to share advice aimed at “empowering buyers to create lasting, positive habits” outside of the retail space.
She said: “I founded Nudea with an unwavering commitment to offer fit, comfortable and style, with no compromise. I wanted to bring joy to underwear drawers and reinvent how women feel each day.
“Underwear is the first thing you put on in the morning and is the layer closest to your skin, so it should be a considered and careful choice – something you look forward to wearing.
“As we have expanded our product range, this commitment to premium fabrics that stretch, move and are kind to your body and skin remains unchanged.
“Wearable wellness has become an integral part of the brand’s DNA and I look forward to seeing the journey continue over the next five years and beyond.”
