A driver had a nasty surprise on Wednesday morning when she returned to her car to find crucial parts of it missing – including the entire front bumper.

Abbie Godbold said she left her Volkswagen Golf in Wye Gardens, near Desborough Park, overnight on Tuesday, September 10.

When she went to pick it up the following morning, however, the vehicle’s wing mirror covers and whole front bumper had been stolen.

Abbie said she had been in touch with Thames Valley Police and urged anyone with information about what happened to contact either the force or herself.

Adding: “Please be extra vigilant at night around the Desborough Park Area. If anyone sees anything on social media that could be related, I would be incredibly grateful for a message.”

Thames Valley Police has been contacted for comment.
