Police are searching for two teenage boys who hit a delivery driver over the head and tried to steal his moped in High Wycombe.
The victim was returning to his bike on The Pastures Service Road at around 2pm yesterday, Sunday, October 13, when he saw the two teenagers wheeling it away.
He chased after them and was hit over the head by the offenders, who then fled the scene empty-handed.
The boys were described as white and aged between 16 and 17-years-old with blonde or brown hair, a slim build and both around 5 ft 5 ins tall.
They were both reportedly wearing all black during the altercation.
The delivery driver, a man in his thirties, was hospitalised with head injuries and has since been discharged.
Investigating officer PC Matthew Leigh, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.
“We are asking anyone with information to please call 101 quoting reference 43240493671.
“Additionally, we ask anyone with mobile footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.
“If you do not wish to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
