Waddesdon Manor is set to host a Haunted Half Term.

The event will run from October 25 until November 2, offering a range of outdoor adventures, ghostly surprises, and themed afternoon tea.

Children will enjoy free entry to the house and grounds during this period.

Visitors can explore the gardens, which will be transitioning into their autumn colours of scarlet, gold, and orange.

Families can participate in the Skeleton Trail, an outdoor adventure with word puzzles hidden across the historic grounds.

A prize awaits those who complete the trail and solve the puzzles.

The Woodland Playground will provide ample space for children to play, while the Skull Shack will feature skeletons, live spiders, and mysterious boxes.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the different species that inhabit Waddesdon and use a microscope to observe nature's beauty.

Inside the Manor, guests can explore the art collection and spot ghostly figures and spooky surprises hidden in the rooms.

A Spooky Afternoon Tea will be served in the Manor Restaurant, featuring ghost meringues, mummified gingerbread men, and spooky jelly worms.

The grounds will be open from 10am to 4pm (closed Monday 27 & Tuesday 28 October), with adult admission priced at £14 and house and grounds admission at £27.
