A publisher has celebrated the release of its 200th railway book.

Transport Treasury Publishing released its 200th book, titled 'Wiltshire Wisdom: The History of GWR Engineering at Swindon,' which coincides with the 200th anniversary of the railways.

The company was formed in 2019 and has grown rapidly.

Their catalogue now spans 200 titles, all celebrating the engineers, workers, and enthusiasts who built and sustained the nation's railways.

'Wiltshire Wisdom' focuses on the pioneering spirit of GWR engineering at Swindon, highlighting the skill, innovation, and community that made the town a cornerstone of the railway industry.

Wycombe MP Emma Reynolds visited Wycombe to attend the book launch.

She said: "I was pleased to visit this thriving Wycombe business to attend their book launch.

"I recognise both the importance of Britain's railway heritage and the remarkable success of a publisher that has become one of the UK's leading names in transport history."

Robin Fell, director at Transport Treasury Publishing, said: "This milestone is not just about our 200th book.

"It's about celebrating two centuries of railway heritage and the people who have helped us share those stories."
