An egg-citing line-up of family activities and chocolate-themed fun is heading to Buckinghamshire this Easter.

Odds Farm Park, near Beaconsfield, will host its annual Spring into Easter event from Saturday, March 28, to Sunday, April 12, promising a packed programme of entertainment throughout the school holidays.

Central to this year’s fun is The Bee Show, starring Captain Buzz Bee and Wing Commander Honey, who are on a springtime mission to ‘bee the best they can bee’ as they prepare for the arrival of the Queen Bee.

The ever-popular Easter scavenger hunt will return, inviting young visitors to track down clues around the 35-acre farm and track down a chocolate-y treat.

The farm’s assistant general manager, Louise Winslow, said: "Our Easter holiday programme is choc-full of springtime activities to keep everyone entertained."

With Easter weekend falling midway through the school break, the farm has adjusted its schedule: the Easter Bunny will appear daily during the first week, while farm mascot Marmalade Pig will take centre stage throughout the second week.

Ms Winslow said: "Spring is certainly in the air as we get ready to welcome lots of new babies to our 250-strong animal family here at Odds.

"Visitors will be able get up close to more than 50 spring lambs in the Little Hooves nursery, as well as our newborn chicks in the Animal Barn.

"We also have plenty of opportunities to get stuck into bottle feeding some of the kid goats and the chance to meet the rabbits during our farmer-led activities and demonstrations."

For the first time, Odds Farm is introducing an Easter pass, allowing families unlimited visits during the event.

The lead-up to Easter will see many animals moved from indoor enclosures to outdoor paddocks, giving guests their first chance this year to see them enjoying the fresh air.

A host of outdoor activities will also return with the warmer weather, including the outdoor H20dds water play area, the Tractor and Trailer rides, and Marmalade’s Mini Rovers – a course featuring child-sized Land Rovers to drive.

Ms Winslow added: "Whatever the weather over Easter, we have plenty of weather-proof fun including our indoor soft play barn, as well as spring-themed arts and crafts for little creators to get stuck into in our Craft Barn."

Tickets for the Spring into Easter event start at £20.95 per person when booked online in advance, while the new Easter pass costs £29.95.

Children under 12 months can enter free of charge.

Pre-booking is not required and walk-up visitors are welcome.
