This May, you can dip into everything from dragon marionette crafting to spy-themed codebreaking at a Buckinghamshire museum.

Discover Bucks Museum’s 'Mythical May Half Term' welcomes families to 'a world of dragons, giants, wizards and Anglo Saxon legends' with daily hands-on crafts inspired by the new The SAXONS exhibition.

Activities are set for children aged 4 to 11 and include dragon marionette making on May 26, Merlin-inspired potion jars on May 27, nature sprite puppets on May 28, and codebreaking fun with author Mark Creasy on May 29.

Little ones can also enjoy the Saxons exhibition, rare artefacts, immersive storytelling, interactive displays and the much-loved Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery.

The activities run daily from May 23 to May 31.

Booking is advised as spaces are limited.
