A charity has received its first-ever grant to support its work.
The Beyond Boundaries Foundation, based in Marlow and dedicated to expanding access to complementary therapies for individuals facing physical, emotional, and mental health challenges, has been awarded more than £19,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund.
The grant will cover most of the charity’s operational costs for the next 12 months, allowing future donations to go entirely towards delivering services.
Denise Greene, founder and chief executive of the charity, said: "We are delighted that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way.
"Thanks to National Lottery Community Fund we will be able to reach more vulnerable people, providing access to much needed services and support.
"Receiving this grant is humbling, empowering, and 100% confirms that the need for integrated health support is widely recognised."
Ms Greene, who established the charity in 2025, was inspired by her own health journey and believes strongly in the benefits of holistic support alongside mainstream care.
The charity offers talks, workshops, events, and online resources through its Buzz Hub, delivering practical tools to help individuals cope with anxiety, depression, pain, mobility issues, grief, nutrition, and other challenges.
Ms Greene said: "We are committed to aiding the management of physical, mental, and emotional health alongside mainstream medicine.
"This foundation allows us to focus entirely on the delivery of that vital work."
