Ownership of all 32 public access defibrillators has been transferred to parishes to safeguard their future use.
The decision was made after the recent Annual General Meeting of the Rural Community Defibrillator Group.
The devices are located across 11 parishes centred around Princes Risborough, including Bledlow cum Saunderton, Bradenham, Ellesborough, Haddenham, Hampden, Hughenden, Lacey Green, Longwick, Penn, Princes Risborough and Wingrave.

The Rural Community Defibrillator Group said: "Following the recent Annual General Meeting of our Group we are pleased to confirm that all thirty-two of the Public Access Defibrillators installed and maintained in the eleven parishes, centred around Princes Risborough, have been taken into ‘parish’ ownership.
"By each parish agreeing to accept their transfer the life saving protection, which they give, is ensured for the foreseeable future."
The Rural Community Defibrillator Group has issued their thanks to each parish for their help in taking on the task for the parishioners, and that without parish protection the equipment may have been lost.
