Two people in their 30s have been arrested following an attempted robbery in Beaconsfield.
Thames Valley Police said the victim was walking along Station Road at around 2.15pm on Thursday, July 30, when a woman approached him and "tried to use force to steal his watch".
A 31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, both from London, have been arrested following the incident and remain in police custody as of Friday afternoon, July 31.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information about what happened to please come forward, as "even the smallest detail can make a big difference".
In particular, the police force are hoping to speak to a man who talked to the victim after the incident and "provided him with some information".
Police believe this man was wearing a construction hat: "If this was you, please come forward to speak to us."
