A town centre pub in High Wycombe has announced it will permanently close later this month.
Yates, in Frogmoor, said its final day of trading will be on September 26, bringing an end to its time in the town centre.
In a social media message posted to customers in the evening of September 2, the venue said: "The building is being returned to the landlord so unfortunately that means that Yates High Wycombe will be closing."
The pub has asked customers to be patient during its final weeks as food and drink stocks are gradually reduced, meaning some items may become unavailable.
Those who use the Mixr rewards app have also been urged to spend any remaining rewards before the closure date, although points can still be used at other participating venues.
The Yates team added: "We would like to thank all of our customers for all the great times we have had."
Located at 46a-50 Frogmoor, Yates has long been a popular destination for sports fans, pub-goers and groups meeting in the town centre, with the venue currently holding a 4.1/5 star rating from 959 Google reviews.
One customer described it as a "decent all-round pub", praising its atmosphere during the World Cup and the number of screens available for watching live sport.
The reviewer added: "I'd definitely come back for another match or just a few drinks."
Yates' closure means it will soon join another empty former pub venue opposite on Frogmoor.
The Air Raid Shelter closed its High Wycombe site in July 2025 before reopening in Chesham in July this year.
