Members of the Bucks Free Press Camera Club have showcased their wildlife photography skills with a stunning collection of close-up images capturing some of Britain's smallest creatures in remarkable detail.
The photographs feature a variety of insects, including butterflies, a dragonfly, a grasshopper and a hummingbird hawk-moth.
Using macro photography techniques, club members have revealed intricate patterns, vivid colours and delicate features that often go unnoticed.
Among the standout images are a striking blue butterfly basking on a wildflower, a delicate white butterfly resting on a blade of grass and a bright red dragonfly photographed in the summer sunshine. Another picture captures the split-second flight of a hummingbird hawk-moth as it hovers beside vibrant pink blooms.
The collection highlights both the beauty of local wildlife and the patience required to photograph fast-moving subjects in their natural habitats.
Together, the photographs offer a fascinating glimpse into the miniature world thriving in gardens, meadows and nature reserves across Buckinghamshire and beyond.
