Wagamama has opened its first-ever restaurant at a UK motorway service station, with the new site welcoming customers at Beaconsfield Services on the M40.
The restaurant, which opened to the public on August 20, marks the popular chain's motorway service station debut.
Extra MSA, which owns and operates Beaconsfield Services, said the opening is designed to support motorists and passengers during their journeys.
The new restaurant joins a range of existing food and drink outlets at the service station, including Nando's, McDonald's, German Doner Kebab, Greggs and Chopstix Noodle Bar.
The opening forms part of a wider partnership between Wagamama and travel hub hospitality operator TRGC. A second motorway service station restaurant is set to open at Cobham Services on the M25 in the coming months.

Jonathan Knight, chief executive officer of TRGC, said the opening was an "important next step" for Wagamama as it expands into more UK travel hubs beyond airports.
He said: "It’s a really exciting opportunity, and with Cobham following in the coming months, we’re looking forward to building on this momentum.”
