A man has been jailed after police discovered cocaine, cash and a mobile phone linked to drug dealing during a vehicle stop in Aylesbury.
Daniel Oliveira, 21, of Dorchester Grove, London, appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 3 following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Officers from the Aylesbury Local Proactive Team stopped a silver Audi TT on Kings Road on March 30 this year while on patrol.
Following searches of Oliveira and the vehicle, police seized 11 bags of cocaine, £524 in cash and a mobile phone believed to be linked to the supply of drugs.
Oliveira later pleaded guilty at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on March 31 to:
- Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, namely cocaine
- Being concerned in the supply of cocaine
- Using a motor vehicle without third-party insurance
- Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
At Aylesbury Crown Court, Oliveira was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. He was also disqualified from driving for 27 months, given an order for deprivation of vehicle rights and issued with a notice of deportation.
The court further imposed a £228 surcharge, ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs seized, and ruled that the £524 cash recovered during the investigation be forfeited under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

"This conviction reflects the dedication of our officers to removing harmful substances and criminality from our streets.
