Personal stories of hope, loss and survival will soon take flight on the side of a life-saving helicopter.
Names will be displayed on the Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA) aircraft through the "Your Name on Board" campaign, which offers supporters a chance to leave a lasting tribute for a £150 donation.
The campaign is part of Air Ambulance Week and aims to raise vital funds for the charity, which receives no regular NHS or government support.
Kelly, the mother of seven-year-old Rumi, who has twice been treated by the air ambulance following cardiac arrests, said: "We are so grateful for everything you guys do; the team are amazing.
"Rumi is beyond excited to have her name on the helicopter, thank you, we’re forever grateful."
Supporters can choose to add their own name or dedicate the space to someone special, whether to celebrate, remember or thank a loved one.
Pauline, a monthly supporter, has used the opportunity to pay tribute to her late husband.
She said: "In memory of a dear husband, father and grandfather.
"Our joker, storyteller, quiz maker and chocolate addict, who gave us fun and laughter and is much missed."
Each name will become part of a collective message of support for the charity’s life-saving work.
Captain Jim, a pilot with Thames Valley Air Ambulance, said: "We never know who will need us next, but we do know we couldn't be there without our supporters.
"Every name added to our helicopter will be a reminder of the people standing behind every mission we fly, helping us bring advanced critical care to those facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
"It's a special way for us to carry our supporters with us every time we take off."
The helicopter will display up to 1,000 names, each reflecting a story of hope, gratitude or remembrance.
Each helicopter mission costs an average of £3,817.
Supporters have until October 31, 2026, to take part in the campaign.
The names will be added to the helicopter during its annual service in January 2027.
