More floral tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal crash in High Wycombe where the victim has been named locally named.
Emergency services were called to Horns Lane, near the junction with Lane End Road, at around 2.20am on Thursday, September 3, after a red Ford Fiesta collided with a tree.
Thames Valley Police closed the road for more than 12 hours while officers carried out investigations and recovered the vehicle.
A woman died because of the collision, and a 19-year-old woman from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and taken into police custody.
Since the tragedy, mourners have left flowers and messages beside the damaged tree, which the vehicle is understood to have struck after leaving the road.
One tribute identified the woman as "Acacia" and read: "Lost for words. Gone so soon.
"I love you lots.
"Forever in our hearts.
"Love from Chris + Family."
Another simple message said: "We will miss you forever."
The bark of the tree remains visibly damaged, while police witness appeal signs have also been erected nearby as enquiries continue.
The notices remain in place almost a week after the crash.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Sergeant Richard Martin, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: "Firstly, our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this extremely difficult time.
"We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses who may have been at the scene and have not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch.
"I also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it."

Three other occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The lengthy road closure caused disruption throughout the day, with traffic diverted and motorists forced to seek alternative routes. Some commuters were seen turning around near the junction with Cressex Road as access remained restricted.
Tributes have also been paid online following news of the woman's death.
Eleanor Hamilton wrote: "That's every parent's worst nightmare. I hope all the families involved are going to be alright."
Councillor Darren Hayday added: "My thoughts with the families involved."
Viv Pearce said: "It's heart breaking. Condolences to the family."
Sue Lubiewski wrote: "Tragic waste of a young life. Sleep well sweetie."
