A fish and chips dish served at celebrity chef Tom Kerridge's Michelin-starred pub in Marlow has sparked a fierce debate online after reports emerged that it costs around £60.
According to the Daily Mail, the British classic is being served at The Hand and Flowers in West Street and features caviar tartare sauce and minted pea purée alongside the traditional pub favourite.
The Mail reported that the meal is available as a main course on the restaurant's Saturday and Sunday lunch menus, which are priced at £95 for two courses.
Based on the menu pricing structure, the meal will out at about £60, according to the national newspaper.

The Hand and Flowers, one of the town’s best-known restaurants, has long attracted visitors from across the country and holds two Michelin stars.
However, the latest menu offering has prompted criticism on social media, with some diners questioning both the price and portion size.
One commenter quoted by the Daily Mail said: "It's just fish and chips, not worth £60," while another suggested the chef had "lost the plot".
Others focused on the number of chips served with the meal, with some online users joking that the portion looked more like a children's meal than a premium main course.
Not everyone was critical, however.
“Some social media users praised the dish, with one describing it as "lovely" and another saying it "looks fab".
Kerridge, who has become one of Britain's most recognisable television chefs through appearances on shows including MasterChef and Saturday Kitchen, described the meal as a "pub classic, but elevated".

The latest debate is not the first-time prices at the chef's restaurants have generated headlines.
In June, Kerridge faced criticism after charging £27.50 for a burger at another Marlow venue, The Coach, which some customers claimed was expensive for a pub meal.
The Daily Mail also noted that Kerridge in 2021 attracted attention after launching a fish and chip restaurant inside Harrods, where portions were initially priced at £35 before increasing to £37.
Responding to criticism of those prices last year, the chef argued that premium ingredients and sourcing standards inevitably come at a higher cost.
Kerridge owns several pubs and restaurants across the South East and London, but his strongest links remain with Marlow, where both The Hand and Flowers and The Coach have helped establish the town as one of Buckinghamshire's best-known food destinations.
While opinion remains divided over whether £60 represents value for money, the dish has once again put one of Marlow's most famous restaurants firmly in the spotlight.
