A 90s-inspired lunch menu is bringing a dose of nostalgia to diners at participating restaurants across The Ivy Collection.

The Ivy’s Cool Britannia Menu, launched on September 2 and running until October 6, pays tribute to the era that gave rise to Britpop, the Young British Artists, and a renewed sense of British cultural confidence.

Available Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 6.30pm and Sundays from 11am to 6.30pm, diners can enjoy two courses for £19.96—a nod to the year that defined the Cool Britannia movement.

Mark Askew, group executive chef at The Ivy Collection, said: "Cool Britannia was a defining moment for British culture, and The Ivy has always been woven into that story.

"This menu celebrates the era through a collection of dishes that feel both nostalgic and timeless, including modern interpretations of genuine Ivy favourites from the period, such as our Robata Chicken Skewers, inspired by the original Bang Bang Chicken that guests still talk about today. Whether you remember the original movement or are discovering it for the first time, we hope the menu captures the optimism, creativity and confidence that made the era so memorable."

The Ivy, long regarded as one of London’s most iconic restaurants, was a gathering place for the musicians, actors, and artists who helped define the Cool Britannia era. The new menu features a blend of classic British favourites and dishes inspired by the bold flavours of the 1990s.

Starters include glazed onion soup, gratinated halloumi, and kiln-roast salmon rillette. Mains on offer include 90s-style coconut curry, salmon linguine, chicken supreme, and an upgraded minute steak for an additional £4.95. Desserts stay true to the nostalgic theme, with sticky toffee pudding, mango vanilla sponge, and a Platinum Sundae featuring hazelnut and dark chocolate.

The Ivy Collection has also partnered with Cointreau to create two limited-edition cocktails: the Champagne Supernova, and the Spice Girls, both inspired by the music and icons of the decade.

The Cool Britannia Menu is available at participating restaurants across The Ivy Collection until October 6. It is offered Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 6.30pm, and Sundays from 11am to 6.30pm.
