A closing date has been confirmed for the TGJones store in High Wycombe.

The High Street branch has been covered in large “Store Closing Down” and “Everything Must Go” signs in recent weeks, with shoppers taking advantage of discounted stock.

The retailer has now confirmed the store will close on January 9, 2027.

The closure follows Modella Capital's £76 million takeover of WH Smith’s high street business earlier this year.

Stores were subsequently rebranded as TGJones, while WH Smith continued to focus on its travel outlets in airports, railway stations and hospitals.

The High Wycombe branch is not the first Buckinghamshire store to shut, as its sister stores in Aylesbury and Beaconsfield have also closed in recent months.
