LONDON Concertante will get audiences in the spirit of Christmas with some of the world's best loved music by candlelight.

The UK's leading chamber orchestra has joined with international virtuoso Adam Summerhayes for their annual Christmas series at St Mary's Church, Amersham.

London Concertante is now firmly established as one of the country's leading chamber orchestras, which is more used to playing in the Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Royal Opera House as well as venues throughout the UK.

They are joined by Adam to perform music right from the top of the classical favourites list, including Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Pachelbel's Canon, Bach's Air ad Barber's Adagio.

The orchestra will strike up at the church in Amersham on December 21 at 7.30pm and the audience will be treated to a mince pie and mulled wine during the interval.
