POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a traffic warden was hit by a taxi in Marlow High Street.
Sue Pentecost was in the middle of issuing a parking ticket to a taxi illegally parked near the junction with Institute Road when the owner jumped in the car and drove off.
Police said that as the taxi left it struck Mrs Pentecost's elbow causing slight injury and bruising.
The incident happened at 10.45am on June 22. The taxi was maroon and was driven by a white male.
