CHESHAM United could be set for a massive £100,000 windfall after Everton tabled a £1million bid for central defender Fitz Hall.

The Meadow Men are entitled to a ten per cent sell-on payment if Oldham cash in on the player they signed from Chesham 18 months ago.

Division One newboys Cardiff City have also made a bid for the 22-year-old and with cash-strapped Oldham teetering on the brink of collapse, Hall now seems certain to leave.

Meanwhile, former Chesham player Wayne Andrews could also be set to leave The Latics with QPR leading the chase.

If Andrews leaves Boundary Park, there won't be any cash benefit for Chesham as he left The Meadow on a free transfer without any clauses being inserted.

Andrews, 25, plundered 11 goals in just 28 starts for Oldham last term on the way to the play-offs.
