AN air ambulance was scrambled to Hazlemere this afternoon after an elderly man collapsed outside the library.
The helicopter, along with a land ambulance was called to the scene in Highfield Way at around 3pm.
Although the helicopter landed the patient was taken by land ambulance to High Wycombe Hospital.
The man, who was said to be in his 70s, was rushed to the hospital in Queen Alexandra Road in a life threatening condition.
