A FARMERS market is coming to Beaconsfield next week to give shoppers a last minute chance to nab ingredients for their Christmas feasts.
The market will be held in Windsor End in the Old Town on Saturday December 20, from 9am to 12.30pm.
To add to the festive atmosphere members of Denham Hendon Brass Band will play carols and seasonal music from 10am. The Beaconsfield Old Town Residents Association will be collecting for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, and town mayor, councillor Henry Wilson is expected to visit.
Diane Harker, market manager, said there would be plenty of treats on offer. “As well as the usual stalls selling meat, bread, pastries, preserves, fish and vegetables we will have loads of Christmas fare from puddings and cakes to Chiltern ales and beeswax candles.”
