A 58-YEAR-OLD woman was robbed in Wycombe by a man believed to be carrying a knife.
At about 9pm on Wednesday December 3, the woman was approached by a man who grabbed her bag. He fled the scene in the direction of Priory Avenue, via the connecting railway bridge.
Police say he is believed to have been carrying a knife.
He is described as white, in his 20s, slim and 5ft 7ins tall. He wore a black woolly hat, a white scarf, a cream jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
Det Con Katie Worsfold, investigating the robbery, said: ”I urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information that may help us with our investigation, to contact me at High Wycombe police station on 0845 8 505 505.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind locals to remain vigilant and alert if you are on your own when it is dark. Keep your possessions close to you and avoid being distracted by your mobile phone or MP3 player.”
