BOOKER was hit with three attempted burglaries in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The occupant of one property in Bedder Road was disturbed by noise just after midnight and saw a man with a crowbar run off toward Holmers Farm Way. He was described as white, in his mid-20s, clean-shaven and wearing a blue padded jacket and a baseball cap.

Another occupant of the same road heard noises at around 1am and found damage to the garage door and patio door. A third home discovered damage around the lock of a wooden front door.

Another property in Vanguard Close, off Copyground Lane, also suffered and attempted burglary overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Marks were found on the rear patio door, and glass was broken, but it is not known if entry was gained or anything was stolen.
