MARLOW Chamber of Trade have issued a rally rallying cry to businesses and are planning to bring the High Street together in the New Year to find solutions to increase custom.
Chamber member Jo Braybrooke said: "The chamber are going to try to sort out a venue to get all the traders together.
“We want to bring everybody together to see if we can do something, if we can do to help them out so at the very least they don’t feel on their own. “We have to see if there's more we can do to bring more people into Marlow and make it a really nice place to visit.”
Chamber president Andy McCready recently announced that more traders were attending meetings and seeking advice from the group as a result of the credit crash.
A new monthly newsletter is being created to increase awareness of the chamber’s work and specifically to offer further help for businessmen in the town struggling with the economic downturn.
Mrs Braybrooke added: “We will do our best to help and support the Marlow businesses as much as we can.”
