Amersham & Wycombe College has been celebrating another year of excellent results in a report recently published by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

The results, published in the School and College (post-16) Achievement and Attainment Tables, have shown that in 2007/8, Amersham & Wycombe College students achieved an average points score per exam entry of 212.3, the best of any Further Education College in Bucks and the immediately surrounding areas. The score is also above the national average and compares extremely well with local schools.

Gerry Montague, Director of Quality Improvement and Students, comments: “While our students enjoy their time at College and develop in so many ways, our main responsibility is to help them achieve their qualifications, in order to prepare them for further study or employment. These well-deserved results are a tribute to the efforts of students and staff throughout the College.”
