WORK on making an accident black spot safer has not begun despite drivers still having minor accidents.
Blind Lane, in Bourne End, which has many twists and bends, appeared on Buckinghamshire County Council's Local Transport Plan at the beginning of the year.
It confirmed that money for improvements has been allocated in its budget for 2000/2001.
Improvements, costing £10,000, include skid resistant surfacing, improved signs and more road markings.
Work was due to begin in July or this month as the council said this type of surface and work needs dry weather.
No one from the county council highways department was available for comment.
