THREE Cheers for the Environment Centre.
I for one am delighted that we, through our district council, have supported The Environment Centre. It does excellent work despite operating on a shoe string. Your article last week neglected to mention the benefit we gain from having the centre and the fantastic work of so many dedicated volunteers.
Have you forgotten that the building was refurbished at a cost of several hundred thousands pounds using funds raised, not by Wycombe District Council who had allowed the building to become derelict, but by the volunteers who have since kept the centre going. We owe them our thanks for such hard work and dedication.
