A HIGH Wycombe market trader says he may have seen the first green shoots of economic recovery after selling several new job cards in the past week.
Jonathan Hill, who runs the card stall in the High Street, said he had sold five of the cards for the first time in more than three months.
He said: “We've been selling quite a few 'Sorry you lost your job' cards in the last few months, but no new job ones.
“We used to sell them at about the same rate, but obviously that changed with the recession. But in the last few days we have started to sell a few again, so hopefully that shows things could be picking up a bit.”
