October 21st 2009 is set to be a significant date on the Amersham & Wycombe College calendar as it marks the occasion of the College’s inaugural Student Awards ceremony to be held at the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe.
This prestigious event, to be hosted by a celebrity speaker, will celebrate student achievement from all of the College’s campuses and is being organised not only in recognition of students with obvious academic talent, but those who have faced individual hurdles and difficulties in the course of carrying out their studies.
An audience of up to 600 guests will witness over 100 Award winners receiving on stage recognition for their special endeavours. The College’s highly creative Performing Arts and Music students will add a touch of glitz and glamour to the occasion too, ensuring this is a night to remember.
“We are very excited about this event and it’s a wonderful opportunity to give something back to the students for all their hard work,” says College Principal Gill Clipson
