Amersham & Wycombe College’s first Open Evening of the academic year is being held on Wednesday, 18 November 2009.
At the event, potential students and their families can learn how Further Education can help them unlock their potential and achieve their professional and academic goals. During the evening, visitors will be able to talk to tutors, delve deeper into courses and find out more about the college’s vast full-time, part-time and higher education opportunities. The event takes place from 5.00 – 8.30pm at the college’s campuses in Amersham and Flackwell Heath.
Advice and guidance is being offered for the whole spectrum of courses that the College runs including: AS / A Level & GCSEs, Apprenticeships, Art & Design, Business, Computing & IT, Construction, Counselling, Electrical, Foundation Studies, Hairdressing, Beauty & Holistic Therapies, Health & Social Care, Leadership & Management, Media & e-Media, Music, Performing Arts, Sport, Public Services, and Plumbing.
The college has been at the heart of further education in the region for more than 25 years, attracting a great many students every year. The college received the accolade of “outstanding” status in visual arts at the last OFSTED inspection in 2007.
