A Recycling centre is set to suffer from disruption for the next six weeks while essential improvements are made.
Work at the Buckinghamshire County Council-run Amersham Household Waste Recycling Centre on the A413 London Road begins tomorrow.
Worn concrete and tarmac pavements are to be replaced, which will help reduce noise levels at the site.
The centre will remain open but residents may experience some difficulty using it, with temporary access steps being put up to get to some recycling containers.
Council staff will be on hand to assist if needed however.
Councillor Martin Tett, Chairman of the Waste Committee for Buckinghamshire, said: “The site will remain open to householders and traders while the essential health and safety work are carried out, however the public are warned to expect some delays.”
