BUDDING snappers are being invited to take part in a green-themed photography competition focusing on the environment.
Children aged between 5-18 can get clicking away to take a photo of something related to the environment in some way.
Among the judging panel will be the Bucks Free Press’s very own photographer Anita Ross-Marshall, with the winning entries going on display at a gallery exhibition.
Bill Lidgate, Chairman of the Buckinghamshire Joint Waste Committee, said: “We know lots of schools, individuals and community groups that are doing their bit to help protect our environment.
“This competition is an opportunity for young photographers to not only get creative, but to also showcase the great work they have been involved in.
“I have no doubt we will receive some fantastic images.”
Youngsters should enter a storyboard of images that tell the story or progress of some environmental, waste or recycling project taking place in their school, home or local community.
For more details on how to enter, download the entry form and photograph consent form from the school/education page of the Recycle for Buckinghamshire website at www.recycleforbuckinghamshire.co.uk.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday March 3.
