A 43-YEAR-OLD has admitted a robbery at a Chesham bookmaker and kidnapping a man.
Peter Dixon was due to stand trial at Aylesbury Crown Court charged with robbery, kidnap and theft.
But today he changed his plea to guilty, having denied the offences at his last court appearance in October.
Dixon, of no fixed abode, robbed the BetFred bookmakers in Chesham High Street on July 30 before later kidnapping Aamir Raj.
He also admitted to stealing a handbag and its contents.
Two charges of possession of a bladed article will remain on file.
Dixon will return to court on Friday April 16 after Judge Seddon Cripps ordered a pre-sentence report.
