TV STARS David Mitchell and Robert Webb filmed part of their new series at a top Chilterns tourist attraction.
They took over some of the buildings at the Chiltern Open Air Museum to film material for the next series of 'That Mitchell and Webb Look', which hits our screens later this year.
And the 'Peep Show' stars even managed to persuade one of the museum staff as an extra in one scene.
Film crews used four of the thirty historic buildings across the 45 acre site in Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Giles, including 18th century Leagrave cottage – which was transformed into a waiting area for the stars between the shoots – and a 15th century cruck barn originally located near Reading.
Museum Director Sue Shave said: “We are very proud of the fact that many of these film crews choose to return, as they are so impressed with the location and with the help given to them by the team here at Chiltern Open Air Museum.
“One of the Chiltern Open Air Museum team even got roped in as an extras for one sketch, so we will be watching out for the show when it goes out this year.”
She added: “This provides the Museum with an extremely important income stream, as we are a charity and have to raise our own funds throughout the year.”
BBC film crews used the museum at the end of last year, shooting parts of the 'Horrible Histories' series there.
This year's season of events at the museum starts on March 27.
