A PACKED audience thoroughly enjoyed hearing John Francis talk on Red Kites at the Horticultural Society's meeting last Friday. The talk was full of fascinating facts illustrated with slides of these birds, which we see hovering frequently over Booker. Horticultural Society members were delighted to be able to welcome so many guests to the meeting and hope they will return to future events.

RECENT raffle at Asda raised £52 for the local branch of the Cats Protection League. Tomorrow's charity day, featuring, a raffle, tombola and face painting, is in aid of St Peter's Church and School in Marlow.
