FORUM Players are just coming to the end of their panto run and now looking forward to productions during 2003. They have lots of plans and would like to invite anyone interested in amateur dramatics to come and join them on a Monday or Wednesday evening at the Community Centre from 8pm. On Monday evening they meet in the small hall and on Wednesday they have the benefit of being able to use the stage on which their planned production will be performed. "Very few amateur dramatic groups have this" chairman Jill Hyde said, "it certainly helps to rehearse on your own stage. It gives you a chance to see problems with sets, costumes or action well before you are at the dress rehearsal."

Jill went on to say that youngsters who had enjoyed productions at school and were now working would be very welcome. "Suddenly youre going out to work and there's no regular show in prospect. Youngsters have come to Forum in the past and are still with us now but in the more mature roles". Jill will be happy to talk to anyone who might be interested so why not give her a ring on 0118 979 4467. Alternatively, just turn up on a Monday or Wednesday evening.

STILL time to see 'Little Red Riding Hood and her Brother Robin' with performances at 2.30pm and 6.30pm tomorrow in the Centre Theatre. Tickets are £7 adults and £4 concessions from Crocks and Crystal on The Parade or at the door.

OCTEVILLE sur Mer is situated just north of Le Harve and has agreed to twin with Bourne End. Members of the Bourne End (Bucks) Twinning Association are delighted that they have been successful in setting up a twinning agreement. Members from Bourne End visited a number of towns in France last year and agreed that Octeville had many characteristics which made it an ideal 'twin' for Burne End. In November two representatives from Octeville visited Bourne End and took their recommendation back to France. On December 17 it was agreed that the two towns would proceed with twinning.

If you want to know more about the Twinning Association please ring Rob de Ville on 01628 521864.

BELLS will be ringing out this weekend for the Wooburn Bells Restoration Fund. Listen out for them as visiting ringers try out the bells around South Bucks.
