ALL local residents who are aged 50 or over will soon have received a personal letter notifying them of Stopag (Stokenchurch Older Person's Action Group) and its aims. The next meeting will be held in the Youth Annexe in the Community Centre, Bartholomew Tipping Way, on Thursday, February 13 and meetings will be held on the second Thursday each month at 12.45pm, starting with a light lunch and including a speaker or craft demonstration.
This group is part of a network of OPAG's across the county. The Stokenchurch one has the backing of Wycombe District Council and the Health Centre and gives older people a chance to meet socially, and express concerns and needs applicable to them.
