THE parents of a 16-year-old girl killed in a car accident have spoken of their grief over the death of a talented girl who lived life for the moment.

Louise Lewis, from Stokenchurch, was a passenger in an L-reg Ford Fiesta when it left the notorious Bradenham Road and crashed into a tree on Monday.

In a statement issued yesterday, they said: "She was a vibrant 16-year-old, who enjoyed life and lived for the moment. She was very talented and one of her passions was writing poetry.

"She loved music and her favourite was Tupac. She loved shopping and her particular obsession was shoes. She often borrowed her mother's clothes, like a typical 16-year-old. Her parents, family and friends are devastated by her death and will miss her terribly. We will miss her warm smile and vibrant personality."

The teenager was declared dead at the scene of the crash, just off the A4010, in Bradenham.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wycombe Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

The accident happened only half a mile away from the railway bridge where in September 1998 18-year-old Emma Taylor was killed when her car crashed.

Monday's crash happened at 11.05pm as Louise travelled to Saunderton on the road between West Wycombe and Princes Risborough.

Two other friends, who she had met at Asda in High Wycombe earlier in the evening, were travelling in a car behind.
