MARLOW boss Derek Sweetman is out for revenge when his team travel to Wembley in Ryman Division One North tomorrow.

Sweetman's side lost the corresponding fixture at Oak Tree Road despite dominating the game from start to finish.

He said: "We hammered them at our place and lost the game 1-0. We'll be out to avenge that on Saturday.

"But Wembley is a nice place to go and they've got a nice pitch so we're looking forward to it."

Marlow go into the game on the back of their dramatic 4-3 home victory over Aveley on Saturday when a stoppage-time goal from Grant Goodall gave them the three points.

The Oak Tree Roaders had gone ahead through Robert Gibson in the 12th minute but Aveley equalised through a Tommy Lee header.

John Isaac restored Marlow's lead before half-time, but two second-half penalties looked to have won the game for the visitors.

But then Sam Shepherd's deflected shot put the hosts level before Goodall popped up with the late winner.

Sweetman said: "We got there in the end. We were always on top and I think we deserved the three points.

"We showed great spirit and it proves that the game isn't over until the referee blows his final whistle."

Marlow were expecting to play Uxbridge in a league match on Tuesday, but a sudden cloud burst meant the game was called off at the last minute.

The referee didn't give his verdict until 40 minutes before kick-off, by which time the players and many of the fans had arrived at the ground.

The lay-off has allowed Tim Cook and James Pritchard to shake off niggling injuries and both are expected to be fit for Saturday's game.

Sweetman said: "We've got a clean bill of health and it's the first time I've been able to say that in a long while."
