CANDYHEADS is a name that is soon going to be on everyone's lips and CD players.
But before everyone else gets to know about it they will be performing at the White Horse, High Wycombe, on Friday, January 31.
To describe the Candyheads sound, simply is the following: rock that swings, with tunes that have shaken the hand of pop.
Fronting the band on vocals is Ted Chau a guitarist who previously found fame with John Lydon's (Johnny Rotten) band PIL.
Ted has a distinctive voice harnessed to intelligent lyrics, there is a little punk lurking at the edges (isn't there always) and there is a nod to the mighty Led Zeppelin all wrapped up in a sense of drama.
The rest of the band members include Hannah on guitar, Mic on bass and Stu on drums.
The band's debut single, Falling Down, received a huge positive response from the radio stations. Due to this response the Candyheads has just signed with the legendary Track Record Label.
But why not get a taste for the Candyheads live next Friday.
