FOUR members of Bucks CCC's recent tour of South Africa came home as world record-holders but not for their feats on the cricket field!

Russell Lane and Andy Ward, from Slough, and the ring park duo of Matt Bowyer and Stuart Brandom all performed the world's highest bungy jump and survived to tell the tale!

The Bloukrantz River Bungy Jump, between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, boasts to be the highest in the world at more than 700 feet.

Among the party of Bucks tourists watching these daredevil feats, was the Bucks scorer Bob Lane, who had to see his 29-year-old son Russell take the leap.

For wicket-keeper Ward, 21, it was the second time he had jumped at this venue.

"Sorry mum, I've done it again," he said to camera following his leap.

But it was a first bungy jump of any sort for the other three.

All four have videos and tee-shirts to prove that they achieved the world records.
